Ever since selling candy on the playground in grade school I knew I was an entrepreneur for life. I have a passion for building businesses! There’s just something about building a business from the ground up or helping to turn around a struggling business that brings out the best in me. Small businesses are the lifeblood of the USA and I am determined to help business owners achieve their dreams.

I’m able to help business owners because I am an accomplished entrepreneur - starting and/or scaling several businesses over my career. I am skilled at turning new ideas into prospering businesses, being a change agent for companies that are “stuck” and helping teams become aligned with mission, vision and values and individual job responsibilities.

Why the name Renegade? Well, because I have always thought of myself as a little bit unconventional. There is no box that fits me and I don’t approach everything from a business textbook. My approach is straight-forward, methodical and sometimes may be considered a bit “renegade”. But make no mistake about it - I get results. I listen to my clients. I am an excellent sounding board and I work to help you achieve your goals - which I completely understand is often intertwined in both business and personal aspirations.

Here’s more about my background and experience

Prior to Renegade Advisors, I spent several years launching, growing and profitably exiting from companies I have owned, built or worked with in early stages. In 2011 I founded and was CEO of Red Cup Living, LLC in Phoenix, AZ. Red Cup Living has exceeded $4.5M in revenue. From 2002-2008, I co-founded and served as President for Chef’s Planet, LLC in Phoenix, AZ. Launching more than 40 products, I drove more than $3M in annual revenue before selling to a multi-national company. I have also served as Director of Inside Sales for venture backed Responsys, Inc. in Palo Alto, CA. While there I established the inside sales team and business model that launched sales from $0 to $2.8M in 18 months. Earlier in my career I worked for Toshiba America, turning around an underperforming 13-state distribution territory doubling sales from $1.2M to $3M in 15 months. I was also National Sales Manager for Optoma Technology in Santa Clara, CA, where I grew the top line from $3M to $20M in just over 2 years. I hold a BS in Business Management from Arizona State University and a certificate from the Entrepreneurs Organization / Massachusetts Institute of Technology Entrepreneurial Master’s Program. The Arizona Republic named me as one of Arizona’s 35 Entrepreneurs 35 & Younger. Gourmet News named me one of the top 20 under 40 to watch in the worldwide kitchenware industry. Personally, I love my tight-knit community, international travel, healthy living and I am becoming increasingly active in the health and wellness arenas.
